The trigger on my 22 cal LGV wasn’t what I was expecting but with the help of a couple of guys on this forum a while back, the supposedly self proclaimed good looking one Intenseaty22 and Loren I went to town and bought a screw for the second stage. As the title says it ain’t pretty but it works.

Ten shot group, 25 metres. The group is half an inch high as the scope is zeroed at 30 metres. I might have to search the internet for a shorter version but then again this one is working.

............just use the cutting disc of a dremmel - type tool and it cuts right thru the screw to the length you need. then grind or sand or file the rough end to round it off....... -- that IS some good shooting , tho ! -- an older fella was selling this on gunbroker - it's not even broken in yet. he said less than 300 and it dieseled during my first 20 shots. wish i could have afforded the .22 lgu he had listed , also..... this one is a .177 lgv master pro. it's heavy. i had one from airguns of ariz - they were selling the .177 lgv ultra for $330 shipped brand new .... at the time (2015?) they were also selling the one just like this , but walnut stock for $460. it was awesome , but i was really let down at the crappy hollow, thin plastic stock. later , i installed the metal trigger blade for these that has an extra adjustment screw, but i think hector medina's solution or upgrade to the plastic blade wouldve been better. the metal one had a grinding to it. ...........this rig is way more accurate than i am these days. i can see my blood pressure in the reticle of this hubble telescope from sun optics , and i'm just too outta shape to get good groups like i used to shoot... ...........rane on ....................................

Ranedouglas I actually bought the only two screws of this size that they had in the shop. I cut the first one off to length and filed off the rough but it wouldn’t take and I didn’t want to force it hence the extra long version. I’ll look on eBay for one of size.

They are great shooters aren’t they. I nearly bought the 177 version but it was very twangy and not like the thud of the 22 cal. Besides I’m not a great fan of the 177 cal airrifles. Just like the 22 cal versions better.

I would assume that it is the fixed barrel. The LGV lockup mechanism is extremely nice and seems very positive but there is still a pivot present that could (theoretically) allow some movement. Some will say this is not the case and I do not know for certain if that is why but in my case the LGU is slightly more accurate than the LGV. Both shoot tiny groups and are not pellet picky in my case but the LGU seems just slightly better day to day. Cannot think of any other reason personally.
