Issue Nomad II

I have an issue with my Nomad II. I just have it for over a year so warranty is gone.

My Nomad was working fine but suddently it stop building pressure. The gauge stay on 0 and will not move. Of course my bliding valve is closed, I already changed the little white ring and the pressure disc. Air is coming out but not a lot and the pressure stay low. The number on the screen doesn't go above 21. I can not see or hear any leaks.

It makes a stonger sound than usual so I don't know if this the reason. I look on the forum and I could not see the same issue but I saw a lot of issues with this unit.

Let me know if you have an idea where i can come from.

Be sure the inline filter connections that connects to the quick connect is tight and filter if you have just replaced it and not tightened enough completely unscrew wrap teflon tape on threads and retighten.

I would also try to wrap the bleeder screw with a lot of Teflon tape and screw it in tight and see if that fixes it. If so then your replacement seals aren't seated properly you may try to flip them around and reseat them. Of it has a drain screw wrap teflon tape on those threads too make tight.

If still no go then remove the cover and tighten all the bolts you see around the skinny pipes and the motor itself then try filling. Unholy the screws underneath and unplug the wire connectors to access motor to tighten bolts.

If still no go then watch the video tighten where you missed try fill again.

If still nope then follow video rebuild instructions.

Hopefully a rebuild kit may have been included. Looks rather simple to DIY...

Get mine sorted out today.

There was a crack in the high pressure tube from the cyl. head to the output connection. (picture between blak marks)

Very strange........
