Is this safe?

So I just got my FX crown last weekend and I have not had a chance to shoot it much, but today I shot during my lunch and it was pretty cold outside. I was using my hand pump so I was only shooting one mag and then I would re-fill it. So before I put it away I pumped it back up to 250 bar.

After work I bought in in the house. About 2 hours later I went to wipe if off and I noticed that the gauge was past 250 bar. I guess the air expanded once it heated up. I took it outside and dry fired it until it got back to 250. If would not have noticed this would it have damaged my gun? I had to shoot it about 10 times before it got back to 250 bar its a .30. Thanks for the help!

I'm sure there's a safety factor built in, the tank for example is probably tested to 600 bar. I would take it as a cheap lesson and you probably didn't damage anything, don't fill it to 250 in the cold unless you're going to shoot that pressure off. Fill to 220-230 if you're gonna bring it in and warm it up, yes as the tank warms up the pressure goes up.
