Is there a good, inexpensive bipod?

Trying to find a bipod for my gun. Really would like to avoid paying $300 plus for a bipod, could be talked into maybe $100. Does such a thing actually exist?

I'm with you here. Some of the bipods must be made from unobtainum. https://www.amazon.com/Rifle-Bipod-Tactical-Picatinny-Adjustable/dp/B01LWATDQG/ref=sr_1_11?keywords=atlas+bipod&qid=1564344870&s=gateway&sr=8-11 is what I have on my Brocock Commander and it works very well. Total cost is $39 and it's a Atlas BT-10 knock off.

I've got the same model and paid about the same for it. The cant adjustment on mine sucks big time. Not smooth at all. That's why I'm off looking for another bipod. Was hoping someone knew of one that worked better for a more reasonable price than the $300 to $500 for Accu-Tec's or Atlas brand names. Some really good suggestions here, I'll do more research.

That is the on I purchased also. tear it apart and do the mods I did and the CANT feature will work smooth. Don't forget about the Washers between the spring and pivot washer. I used two this will allow the CANT feature to work when the tension knob it tightened down. If you only want a little bit of CANT then just use one washer. Loctite is your friend in making these good bipods. I agree I would rather spend my money on other airgun stuff. AN airgun does not need military grade $300.00 + bipod. If you can afford one good for you. I can't justify that cost.

This is absolutely true but its hard finding a quality bipod that also has the 45 degree position which I prefer. Another reason that Harris and Atlas are more expensive is they’re made here in the USA instead of China and I’m happy to support them if I can.

LMNOP - It all helps, helps me understand what the limits are. Jealous of your range. Nearest 100 yard range to me is 20 minutes out, granted, the staff at Lee Kay are great.

Gradually waking up to the fact that no inexpensive bipod exists with the quality I want. I guess, you pay for it.

Many thanks for all the tips though. gives me lots to think about.

I just bought this one:

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B073RCZ198/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Will try it over the next few days and see if it's any better. It looks like it has fewer moving parts, the question is, how stable is it? We'll find out.

I have one the same as this one. It's an Accu-Tac knock-off and works very well. It lacks the pan feature of the Atlas clone but the cant function works much better. It has spring-out legs that allow 45-degree front or back position and IMO is a better option. I found one a bit cheaper, about $50 AUD on eBay.

Thanks for the info. I have high hopes this one will do the trick well enough till I can either afford the real thing or switch to bags or something.

by the way, spent time in the Land Down Under a few years ago, My boss got me hooked on Aussie Rules. Sadly, can't get any games where I live. Much better than Grid Iron. Got to go to an Australia Day game at the MCG. Great experience! Would love to come back.
