Is the Umarex Gauntlet an US thing only?

I have googled a lot and cant seem to find the Gauntlet in Europe despite Umarex being German.

I have found the .25 in France and the Nederlands but at prises that approach $850-900.

So is the Gauntlet an US thing only as the Hammer seems to be?

$300 should be the maximum price. It's a very low end gun with a poor build quality. It's also long and heavy. You'll spend more trying to make it a decent gun than you paid for it.
