Is the Shoebox still being manufactured?

Just read over at GTA, Shoebox is done. He's selling remaining units at that ($1300) price, no joke. Parts will be available but more expensive. Apparently, NASA uses them for something and he will still sell to them. This was going to be my next compressor too; a real bummer!

Yep I was going to buy one after life settles back down. Oh well. It will open up the market for something better.


Sounds like another $1000 toilet seat at this point. 

I don't think its a joke, I bought mine in December for the "ON SALE" price price of $499 also. I was thinking just before that they were reported to be in the $1000 range. I know Zonk on the forum told me he gave about $800 for a F8 a few years back.

Feeling pretty smug about my practically new $200 F8 purchased from the popular auction site. “Oh” that included shipping also.

Great unit BTW. Wonderfully made. It’s unfortunate that he’s decided to no longer sell to the public. It’s exactly what many airgunners needed; but they didn’t know it.

Yeah, very sad that they kind of stopped.

Also that the prices for spare parts are more expensive now.

Pick-up some spare seals, parts and whatever and it will outlast you. Totally and easily rebuildable. 

Many owners on this board that you can use as a resource if it’s something a little more complex.
