Is the optic i want even made?

Looking for a sight or scope to put on a pistol. I like reflex sights because there is no eye relief, but I hate to rely on batteries or having to "turn on" your sight. Is there a sight made out there that is essentially a non magnified scope that has unlimited eye relief with a mil dot retical? Probably the closest thing I own to this, is a Trijicon RMR dual illuminated (fiber optics and tritium lamp), its mounted on my ps90, great sight, but it does have the short coming of washing out in bright light and I would like to find something with cross hairs/ mil dot.

I've heard good things about the Leupold brand, with all their scopes. But what i'm digging around for is something that essentially is a battery free reflex sight with a cross hair sight, but I don't know if its A) not possible to make, or B) like integrated hand pump pcps, is a nitch market and not a real draw for manufacturers, and because of that expensive to make.

I've got some ideas that I may try to build on my own, but optics are not my field, so it will probably be more like alternative iron sights, we'll see.
