Is the Fortitude being Discontinued?

The Benjamin Marauder pistol is referred to as the Prod. The full size Benjamin Marauder rifle with the wood stock is referred to as the Mrod and the full size rifle with the synthetic stock is referred to as the Synrod. People use these acronyms to distinguish what they got or what they are referring to. If you just say you have a Benjamin Marauder you’ll get the inevitable follow up question, “pistol or rifle” followed by “wood or synthetic” if you got the full size rifle. Personally I wish Crosman gave the pistol version a whole different name and not referred to it as a pistol or rifle at all as I don’t really care for using the acronyms. I also think it’s kinda silly calling the Marauder pistol a pistol. I think the vast majority of the people that own them, myself included, have the shoulder stock installed and shoot it as a carbine rifle.

Is the Fortitude discontinued? Nope! According to HAM we have a new and improved generation two Fortitude to look forward to come March.

Y'all may have heard. The Fortitude Gen 2 has come out with a Power adjustment screw to take it from ( ft pounds up to 21 ft pounds in .22) 10ft pounds gives you 600 shots! 21 ft pounds 80-90 shots. Also has 35% lighter cocking bolt effort, and a 3.5 pound trigger vs the old 5.5 trigger.
