Is the ATN X-Sight 4K Pro worthy as far as optic quality?

I keep thinking about getting one of these ATN X-Sight Pro 4K Pro 5-20X scopes to record some of my pesting hunts. I'm sure the recording and night vision parts work fine but I still want a clear, accurate optic if it is going on my .25 Uragan that I'm pesting with out to 100 yards. I'm interested in responses by anybody with firsthand knowledge who have/had one on their PCP.

It is not scope clear, its like a TV screen. Is it good enough for pesting yes. It does not compair to a regular glass scope looking into the sun but without xtra light seems to see in low light better. One shining point, if you have time to range a target, balistic calculator works well. Problem is my targets don't give the posing time. So I use the holdover and youcan choose the reticle you like and color. Biggest down side is, it's a computer and it takes a bit of time to learn to use.

I have the first gen that came out in 5x20 and also have the 4k pro 4x14 for night hunting they are worth it but during the day to get a good picture you have to mess with the focus a lot.

Both these photos are screen shots from the 4k pro that I had on my phone. During the day if the sun is at the wrong angle it makes it hard to see anything even with the sunshade. Overall though I am happy with the scope and would get another one.

This is a pic of the sunshade I 3d printed for it, found it on thingaverse for the file.

Get yourself a scope cap for the front lens (forgot which size fits, but they can be had really cheap on Aliexpr) and drill/punch I think what was a 12 or 14mm hole in it. (Google for the exact size, I think it is on ATN owners forum) Use during daytime only, the image quality is unaffected but your depth of field is immense, and as a result hardly any need (if at all) to mess with the focus at all! A very worthy (and almost free) upgrade!

Stating the obvious; in (IR) nightmode you’re trying to get as much light as possible into the scope, so the small diafragma of the lenscap will worsen the image quality (it gets really grainy) so as said: use in daymode only, at night, just flip the lenscap open!

I highly recommend one. I have the 4K pro 5-20x and I love it.... here are the pros great for filming day or night. I have found the more IR light you can provide the better the picture quality at night. I bought one on Amazon the plus into the wall when I shoot from the deck. The one shot zero is magical. With little to no effort you can set it up to shoot a chipmunk between the eyes - I currently switch mine from my Fox impact .25 to my Benjamin Marauder pistol and it is lethal in either platform. Battery life is great, and firmware updates are easy to install. There are great videos on YouTube regarding the process. You will need to buy a good quality SD card. Price is steep but once you get it set up and running you will know where you money went.. Below is the Marauder and Fx set up. Feel free to Pm me if you want more info. I am in the process getting some YouTube footage up and running....
