Reason I'm asking is I didn't know which forum to post this under, so I'm gonna go with General for the time being.

I'm still waiting for the latest match report out of Texas???? I heard Derrick Wall smoked em on the pistol silhouette and had a new match record?

Kinda reminds me of our news media with the things that are omitted and not reported on???? LOL

I would say you're appealing to the wrong authority for Ranchito Robinson match reports CF; but Derrick is probably the only man that could get the correct, 'Higher Authority' off his LAZY ASS long enough to fulfill his MD duty(s)!

Haha, I heard you have finally been dethroned???? After all these years a pistola and shooter combo has emerged to give you a run for your money! You've held the honors for quite a while Ron. I was shocked when I heard the news. You couldn't have given up the honors to a finer guy though!

I'll be checking it out right after this post.

Metallic Silhoutte was developed in Mexico, and transplanted to the US around 1980 and remained a standing offhand rifle sport until pistol shooters of lesser abilities began to allow a sort of “freestyle” shooting with kneeling or a sortof Creedmore style was alllowed, Gradually, most American shooters lost, or never developed the ability to shoot freehand, and and few short years ago, the appeal of shooting from the bench has begun to take over.

Thanks LD, good stuff to know. Yep, I never developed any off hand skills myself, and barely any benchrest skills!

That would explain why Ron calls it Ranchito Robinson!

Ron, I got yer book. I keep it in the toilet room. That's where I do my best reading. Interesting stuff you got in there! Nicely put together.
