Is lubbing with KryTech a lazy mans way to keep a clean barrel?

I'm not a washer or lubber... I don't want to be a barrel cleaner either.

So my wish is this... I can use KryTech to lube, never wash and never have to clean my barrel. How crazy am I? Just about low maintance? I understand the answer is "Bats in the belfry crazy" in general.

Just wondering if lubbing w/ KryTech in a lazy way can X off thinking about cleaning my barrels.

Richie - I have found with my HW97 springer, the groups are tighter and the barrel does not lead up as quickly while using Krytech lube. I wash the .177 pellets in ethyl alcohol and lightly lube them by putting a drop or 2 in the top and bottom of a large tin and rolling about 250 pellets in the tin. I also clean the barrel with Krytech when I see the groups opening up, run a dry patch and go shoot. You will need to shoot half a dozen shots to condition it back up and you should be good to go. Try shooting with and with out the Krytech and see if it works for you.

If I can get better groups and don't need to clean as often then I can't see where you think it is laziness in using it. I think it laziness knowing it helps and not using it.
