WOW!!!   Thank you for the link JamesD.!

    Update:

I called and spoke to the manager of the airport.  He said they only keep logs for commercial drones.  He said most likely it could be hoobiest or kids flying the drones.  They definitely do have to register them.

Don’t quote me on this because he told a million things about drones.  He said when the FAA took over, they mandated that all the newer drones will have to have a software built into the guidance system so they cannot fly into restricted airspace.  It could also be the older drones flying.

In other words, tuff luck.  Oh well….

99% of "drones" that are sold are limited by the RF range of the reciever and transmitter of both the remote controller and the hardware on the drone, also in combination with WiFi if applicable.

More expensive drones that have on-board GPS guidance and longer RF ranges are technically limited to their physical capabilities, thrustt battery life, etc. And some of the spendy ones can fly amazingly high and far away, above the cloud deck.

There may be some with software limitations, but like any other software, it can be hacked and modified.

Seems ok to shoot them down in Israel.  If you fancy a light hearted pot shot at the odd drone then it's the place to be.

Outside of class A, B Airspace and outside of the 5 mile radius from Airports, anything flying in and up to 400 ft AGL is not in controlled airspace… ☝️, flying over a property is different to flying a drone that is designed as an aerial photography and video with zoom lenses, most definitely becomes and intrusion on privacy…
