Is it just me or are the Fx Crown owners "strangely silent and withdrawn?"

So here is my 2cents on this thread, I just went to all the major retailers in the states and I don't see any smooth twist barrels anywhere for the crown. I too have looked at all this gun offers but from what I have found (and I may be way wrong not looking under every rock) but why does FX brag about these barrels and then don't release any? Seems like cart before the horse here.
I see easy change of calibers and twist rates and flux capacitors, wait wrong promise. But yet the cupboards are bare?? Seen a bunch of features at shot show that can't be found?? Kinda a let down for a guy that eats and breaths PCPs and has funds to spend. Just my observation so don't punish too harshly. I will get off my soapbox now.

I too find the lack of available barrels annoying, but even more annoying is the lack of spare mags. If this was summer and I was shooting more I'd be very upset.

I'm not entirely sure but I believe the Impact was the same way initially.

Apropos the barrels, I'm wondering if the Imact barrels would work on the Crown. I know they aren't the X barrels, but as the price has dropped, they might be an option.

Having said that I must say I dearly love my Crown and wouldn't have bought anything else

The only Ragged Hole I achieved with my Crown is the one the manufacturer placed on the top rear corner of the Breech. I Had it for 30 minutes, wrapped it back up and returned it. Maybe I got a bad one, but the retailer sent me pictures of three others with the same hole, same area and I say "area" loosely as the hole placed by the manufacturer seems to be random within 1/4 inch placement. It must be hand drilled. Mine was EXCEPTIONALLY poor in that the hole had jagged edges and literally cut my skin. Thats how I found it, after it caught my thumb. So, I guess for $1,800 I thought I rather not have that hole. I have gone to the Ataman M2R tact Carbine walnut regulated .357 (on order)... and pocketing $400.00, looking forward this beast.

OK funny thing here. Same conversation about Impacts in 2016.

Considering that at one point, I heard that FX had 8000 Crown's on back order, the few you see on the used market aren't that many. Even today, try to find an Impact on the used market! I got danged lucky last week and found one at AoA, and it was still $1500. The demand is still there.

Racingbirds has a point as well. If the pressure to get guns out is effecting the quality of the product, lots will send them back and Airgun Depot will eventually have a bunch to sell as refurbs. Not much of a discount, but some.

Mine has a sticky trigger out of the box gets stuck Against the second stage room it apart and there’s Looks like aluminum dust all over in the hammer only had it one day

That issue is solved in 30 seconds.

Take a 2mm allen key and turn the setscrew behind the trigger in for about 1/16th of a turn. Done.

Can't go wrong, there is only one 2mm set screw there?

I recently received my 25 cal synthetic crown from airgun depot. I really like the gun and have shot several MOA or sub MOA 5 Shot groups with the gun....something I've never bee able to achieve with my other guns except my 22 cal BSA lonestar.

Just sent the gun back to FX warranty for regulator creep issues. Reg would want to vary between 125 and 135 bar. My gun liked to shoot jsb kings at pw setting 4, which is about 855 fps. However, my cold bore shot would be around 799 to 811 and then take a few shots to come back up to speed. I was hoping the issue would settle itself out after a tin or two of pellets but it didnt. Even removed the bottle and depressurized the reg but that didnt help. I'll keep you posted.

Been there done that the problem comes back and There is metal dust all over on the inside of the trigger and hammer looks like there’s excess Wear inside the hammer slide or tube where the hammer is

Well, excuse me, but to me this is hard to believe.

I fixed numerous FX's this exact same way, it has always worked and never came back.

Another queston, how does it shoot? I don't hear you say anything about that.

If it shoots well...... then don't try to fix things that ain't broke. If you do it right, this trigger fix will ALWAYS work.

.25 Crown @ 35yds with Predator Polymags. I have never had a rifle shoot Polymags this well.
