Is anyone familiar with lightening the trigger weight on a FX Impact?

1st and 2nd stage screw has to be adjusted till spring loaded ball is resting on the pin in the cock position----> not in the photo, the cover plate has to be removed to see the 2.

the more you compress the ball the harder the pull of the 2nd stage, so adjust 2nd stage screw till it go off before the ball compress, then adjust 1st stage travel--you my have to adjust both screw till it feels right to you. adjusting one screw will affect the other screw---they have to work together.

to get the lightest pull--don't have a 1st stage travel. 1 stage trigger. got mine at 8OZ

Dear Ernest, I read your post about Impact and help me a lot,thank you!
But now I have a problem with my new impact,I try to turn the setting of trigger to find a best travel length and the weight,but I got a new problem that I can't cocking the rifle now,I need to pulling the level very fast and very hardly for 50% chance to cock the rifle,do you know what is the problem?Waiting for your reply and thanks again.
The setting is very normal in the picture,but the cocking is not working now.
