Is a month enough?

Long story short...

I had an FX Indy for a week.
Sent it back.
Got store credit.
Was going to wait for an Impact.
Currently, that is a 6 month wait.
Just so happened to browse the sellers website and saw, that they have a LNIB Impact for $1799.
I called right away and said that I want it.
They said I can have it.
They also mentioned that the gun comes with only one month of warranty, instead if the normal year, because it is used.
I am not sure why that would be? Anyhow, it is what it is.

The question now is: Am I doing the right thing by buying a used gun, that is "know" to have issues, not to mention that it only comes with one month of warranty?

Thanks,

Kmd

p.s. I was assured that the seller (store) is making sure the gun is in tip top shape and in 100% working order.

Lol 1 month warranty on a impact!!
All can say is Nope,i would not buy it whatsoever.i would wait the 6 months for a years warranty on a new one.i could understand taking your chances if it was 1000$ but not 1800$ and only 30 day warranty.
That's a ton of cash to a working man and if you have issues say 2 months later outta warranty and gotta send it off to get fixed ,your used impact just cost you more than a new one probably.
Best of luck on how you decide.

NMshooterI would ask for at least 6 months. These things just came out and some, not all, are having a few problems. Hard to say for sure but, is this one of the ones that was having a problem?

I called and told them that I am not going to get it. I thought about asking for a longer warranty, but at the end of the day, there is a reason why someone returned it. Sure, there could many reasons why it was returned, but after seeing how many people are having issues with it, the probability of it being returned due to "issues", is pretty high.

That said. I am torn between the bobcat and the wildcat. Both in .25.

Thanks,

Kmd

P.s. The impact might be one of those products that will always have issues. At least until the Impact 2 comes out.

Have you looked at the new Daystate Renegade? AOA has justed reduced the price on all Daystate rifles. Not sure it is in yet but I was told it would be out in August. I was in AOA last spring and looked at both. Although the Bobcat is heavier I liked how it shouldered better than the Wildcat. However, check out Plinker's posts; he has been knocking the snot out of the squirrels in his neck of the woods with the Wildcat.
Good luck with your decision!

I tried to take a closer look at the Renegade, but there isn't anything to really look at. Not much information about it out there. I like that the Bobcat has a power adjuster. Other than that, I do not like the looks of it at all. The Wildcat looks a thousand times better, hands down. No, I have not seen his videos, but I will look for them now. I wonder if the Wildcat is a "100 yard" gun? You know, small game such as birds and prairie dogs... : )

Thanks.
