Interested to internal specs did they increase plenum?

the only things i like better are the weaver rail and the bolt handle . being a hand pumper the bigger bottle is just more volume to pump and 4500 psi is too much effort for my cheap old butt . the stock looks fugly IMO also . everything isn't for everybody and we all know what opinions are like . but if it shoots like my G .25 it's gonna make a lot of folks happy . 

Man, that thing is long.

Looks like you addressed a lot of the feedback you got from the G1. Kudos for listening to the crowd. I love the changes! I haven't watched any of the videos yet but I'm hoping it has 1/2 unf threads on the end cap?

I'm kinda feeling the look actually. At least they are trying to stay updated for folks who don't have the loot to spend for Big brand guns. Will be interested to see some in-depth testing reviews.

Being new to PCP rifles I am very interested in this rifle. I recently purchased what is considered an entry level PCP rifle and have been happy with it but would like to move up a bit. I have been doing a lot of looking on the internet and watching reviews on several different guns and I was impressed with Hajimoto Productions review of this rifle.

This (1rst generation) was my first PCP. Paid $300 for .25. Wanted regulated air gun with magazine feed, synthetic stock and 3000 psi tank, and a reported great shooter, too. Gauntlet fit the bill. Drawbacks; poorly fitting tank shroud and sling design. Long and heavy, too. Hajimoto, one great guy, tunes, sells parts and makes great do-it-yourself videos, to upgrade generation one. Looks like Umarex took his great ideas and suggestions and applied to next generation. I've seen pre-sale prices for $399. so still a great deal. All shortcomings addressed and power upgrades, formerly available thru Hajimoto, now included. Still long and heavy but, in my opinion, the way to go.

Hello everyone I'm new here and have a Gauntlet on order, but think its the older one not the 2. But I was wondering if you don't want to hand pump these what's the best way to go other than Scuba tank ? I would like to get a nice compressor but don't know which one to get and how reliable are they ? Also don't want to spend a whole lot on the compressor as my old wallet is on the lean side right now. Thanks in advance
