And i suppose the Heavy Liner is better for slugs in .30 cal? May be a little bit of help from FX USA for clarification for everyone?

Once I get an FX barrel adapter kit for my Taipan Veteran, a 700mm heavy stx liner in .22 will be going on it.

Twist rate of the .25 superior heavy? Is this better suited for the JSB 33.95gr pellets than the "standard" superior?

I have both liner and the king heavy and MK II work very well in both ....... but for me the Standard Superior liner is more suitable for the jsb 33.95gr, jsb Hades. The Hybrids that I am not going to buy anymore ..... they are not worth it, they are very very expensive and better groupings with the others and the NSA 29.5gr.

so where does the superior heavy shine i have the 600mm on a maverick and it sux shooting 18.13s qand hybrid 22s so will the standard superior work better with slugs inder 23gr or what please let us know where the superior heavy will excell because the regular is great with what im shooting and the heavy sux with what im shooting?

The .22 Superior Heavy is for standard slug (those heavier than the Hybrids, more in the 26gr plus range). The Superior Heavy has a faster twist rate that the heavier slugs need in order to stabilize. Users also use the .22 Superior Heavy to shoot the 25.39 Monster Redesigned pellets as well.

Yeah shooting 18 grain .22 hybrids in a in a superior heavy thats under kill as i understand it, you need to drop in something +25 grains like knockouts or heavy javelin slugs or the heavy NSA models.
you need to leave the "featherweight" slugs to the lesser barrel / gun folks out there.

Suprisengly the superior standard in .22 shoots everything up to 30gr h&n slugs extremely accurate. It's not that the heavy does not shoot great, but the standard is just better in 30gr and lighter slugs.
