Introducing the new FX Superior STX Liners

I couldn't stand the temptation so ordered one and a few slugs from my favorite dealer in Florida. FX USA, have ya'll tried enough NSA's to recommend a couple for the Standard Superdooper?

Hey Jimmy, try the Griffin slugs! A little more money but with what you have into your rig(s) it is WELL WORTH IT! They are quite a ways ahead of NSA and offer many different sizes, shapes, weights, cavity types, different bases, etc. and they have done extensive testing with FX platforms. Better BC than Neilson, much better consistency too and they expand incredibly. I was shooting their 30gr .22 yesterday and hit a rabbit at 76yds and my son was with me, first he’s heard of these when they hit - he said “Dad what the heck was that, it sounded like you hit a balloon?!”

Thanks Jeff, I've heard nothing but good out of the Griffins. I'll keep them in mind.

Got my barrel liner recently and would like to know the twist rate. FX can you answer this question

Not sure if these twist rates are correct for the new Superior liner as some are saying it is a 1 in 23 twist for the new .25 cal. liner. Thanks for the response and I do have that chart down loaded for my records. Bill

1/20 might be the superior heavy and it's also my understanding superior standard is 1/23 and old slug liner is 1/21......not least bit confusing.

I think it's 1:23. Still waiting for my liner and Hybrids.

Thanks DShepard hopefully that can be confirmed. I need accurate information to input into Strelok especially with all the long range slug shooting I have been doing lately. Bill

I recently received the superior heavy slug liner. The twist rate is 1:18 for the .25cal 700mm

I tough heavy liners are not out yet I didn't see any dealer to list them , just regular superior liner.

Will check with them.

Thank you

Are the heavy liners out yet? Some guys claim to have one

I checked with few dealers in US and in Europe and none of them have them or have idea when they will be available.

Something doesn't add up to me, on May 6th. FX announce supperior liners and said

"The FX Superior STX Heavy Liner will be replacing the STX Slug A liners in the coming months

Coming months , from my experience that means few months , so how anyone got heavy liner one month later?
