Introducing the FX Maverick

Don’t know why but woke up around 5:30 this morning and cant go back to sleep. Checked AGN for grins and now My wallet is 1600 dollars lighter. I should have more springs in my steps thanks to all the weight savings from my wallet. It must be divine intervention and the lord himself directly told me to buy it......that’s my story and I’m sticking to it!

Will the existing Impact barrels/liners work on the Maverick? It would seem that they would and I hope that they would b/c a lot of us have ones that we'll want to repurpose if/when getting the Maverick.

Edit: re-read the OP and it appears that they do use the same/existing STX barrels and liners . . . but if FX or any dealers could confirm that would be great.

Got to love the way FX keeps on improving its rifles and technology. I know with the rapid changes those buying the latest models may feel left out but they still have great performing rifles. I know I would rather have a company that keeps on innovating rather than being satisfied with what they offer and I think we do see that most companies are updating their rifles. Now I will echo what the other left hand shooters have said about the magazine position. FX will you be offering a magazine and cheek piece for lefties. Or maybe our fellow lefty brother Fredrik can make a short video of him shooting the new Maverick. Bill

I have an Impact on order, was considering changing the order to the Maverick. Want something with the 700mm barrel, so the Sniper would do the trick. But, I can buy the Sniper, and keep waiting (just like the Impact) and save $350, or just go for the Impact. After a LOT of internal deliberation, It's still the Impact. I like the idea of dual regulators, but I think the wait for the Impact will be shorter than the Maverick (ordered a month ago) and as with all new products, I'll let someone else break it in and find all the design and production "Oopsies" before I buy in. Yup a bit of a chicken when it comes to new products. The infrastructure for the Impact is already out there and it's a mature platform. As for the Maverick, let's see how the Gen 1 guns hold up.

All you folks that ordered a Maverick today, please keep us posted. I hope it's a good experience all the way around, cause it might be my next gun.

Ordered a .30 Compact to play around with

@FX-USA questions for you sir:

  1. Do these take WC magazines?
  2. Who can hook me up with a slug power kit?
  3. Is any of the Sabre furniture compatible?
    [/LIST=1]

    Looks like a beast 😂

  1. Sorry for the delayed response mtnGhost. I know you'll love the Maverick you ordered!

1- Yes, takes the same standard side shot that Wildcat MKIII, Crown & Dreamline use. (Also the same barrel kits as the WC3. Will accept Impact barrel kits as well though the shroud of the WC3/Mav is slightly longer than the Impact)

2- Maverick Slug Power Kits (that will also work in the WC3) are being produced now so probably mid-December

3- I know that Sabre has been working on items. Expect items soon

Who keeps these FX guns in stock ? I look at PA and AGD they are always pre order ,and about nothing in stock ... the guns I am interested in are never in stock with delivery dates getting pushed back consistently....

We are getting guns to dealers as quick as we can manufacture them, putting yourself on a preorder list will probably be the best way to ensure receiving a gun right now. We have amped up manufacturing with shipments coming from Sweden every two weeks but demand is as high as ever, keep in touch with your local dealers !

Even when I'm not a fx fan .. this model with the aluminum bottle is cheaper than a taipan long..cheaper than the new cricket.. cheaper than the JS raptor and almost twice the power than the first 2 n completely tunable without opening the gun..I found it the gun to buy in 2020...I don't think that there is anything like it for $1399....same possible power than the Matt special...for $700+less whatttttt.

BINGO!!!

not to mention the bigger and better Mag design, forward cocking lever, easy caliber change, more air capacity, no fill probe, AR furniture, lighter, more options, after market support......I’ve looked all those guns so many times but simply can’t pull the trigger. Pun intended.😂
