interesting observation

Had a GREAT shooting day this afternoon. NO wind for a change. Was shooting my 22 Wildcat with a 6x24 Vortex. 25 Wildcat and my Boss both with Hawke Sidewinder 8x32 and a 177 FWB with a 4x12 Vortex. What I noticed was that when I got above about 3/4 power my POI would start to suffer. Not much, but noticeable. Everything is the same except for the power level. Im at a loss to explain it. any ideas?

Poi should not change from changing the magnification power on the scope. This thread is in the scope, rings, and accesories so i assume you are talking about magnification power not fill pressure. Maybe your poi is changing due to lower fill pressure. I have seen some fx boss reviews where their poi would shift from left to right as they continued shooting their fill. So it seems it is even seen on regulated guns :(.

Unless you have a FFP scope the POI will most certainly change if the magnification changes.
