Interest in a big game AG hunting forum?

Hi guys.

I wanted to gauge the interest of the members in seeing a dedicated big game airgun hunting sub forum being created. We have a seperate big bore AG forum, so I think a seperate big game forum to go along with it would be appropriate. I'd say it would be for hunting anything bigger than say, groundhogs. Things like coyotes, turkey, deer, pigs, goats, etc. While I love squirrel headshot videos, I think the big game videos and stories people post occasionally are much more exciting and speak to the power of modern airguns, and I'd like to see more. It might even push me to get a big bore gun. What do you say?

If this thread gets enough positive responses, maybe the admins will create a new forum.

My concern would be that there isn’t enough big game discussions happening (yet) to support a separate sub forum. In the future that will probably change as air gun hunting goes more mainstream. But for now, that kind of hunting is a much smaller niche than pesting and small varmint hunting.

Although I’m like you, I enjoy watching and discussioning hunting of larger animals, simply because we don’t really have massive pesting opportunities where I am. Its easier for me to go step out into the woods and see a coon or a deer than it is to see a flock of HOSP off by back porch.

I beg to differ. The big bore forum has a whopping 58 threads on it right now. I'm sure if you go through the hunting forum you'd find a least that many threads on people hunting coyotes, deer, pigs, goats, turkeys, etc.\

EDIT: Just did a quick tally and there are 22 posts about big game airgun hunts within the first 20 pages of the hunting forum...and there are 131 pages of airgun hunting posts. I'd say the interest is there, and it's different from simply shooting big bore AGs.
