Instructions on printing 3D parts for Airguns - Leshiy AR Grip

Instructions on how/where to print the 3D Leshiy AR Grip:

I've uploaded the Leshiy AR Grip STL file needed to my Google Drive:

https://drive.google.com/open?id=1VzInD0ZsY3q8ryyqayQxrkkJQMpi5wrK

This is NOT my file. I'm simply re-sharing it for others to use. It is free to distribute per original owner. Original link can be found here on the AirgunNation forum.

  1. Download STL file
  2. Go to www.makexyz.com
  3. Upload STL file
  4. Under "Material" choose "Nylon"
  5. Under "Process" choose "SLS"
  6. Under "Color" choose "Black or White"
  7. Enter your contact info/Payment info
  8. Cost is $65.90 as of this writing, not including the Magpul AA insert which can be bought on Amazon separately for about $14
  9. Wait about 1-2 weeks for delivery
    [/LIST=1]

This process can be repeated with any other STL file you may have for other 3D parts you want to print.

Here is my grip printed as per above instructions:

SLS printing is very high quality. Nylon is a very tough material and is perfect for airgun applications. Google SLS 3D printers to see the machines used to print these parts. They're industrial grade printers.

Hope this helps you guys out! Took me forever to figure out a decent quality print service that'd do what I needed.

Thank you for this! Mine arrived almost exactly one week after I placed the order online with MakeXYZ. It is quite well made, fits perfectly to the Leshiy using the same single 2.5mm socket head screw that holds the factory grip. It feels much more comfortable in my hand than the factory EDgun grip.

I think I may order the Magpul oil bottle holder grip core from Amazon to finish my grip. I may not use the dropper bottle, but this particular core looks like it caps the magazine with the maximum amount of internal volume inside for future storage of objects.

Glad it worked out for you as well! Really happy with mine.

Here it is. Nice finish, perfect fit, and feels so much better than the OEM grip. Only 2 niggles I have are: 1) the little release thingy on the grip core doesn't quite snap all the way into place. Don't know if it's the grip or core at fault; but it's still very secure, so not really an issue. and 2) the grip cost me over 2X more than this one, which came up for sale 2 days after I ordered mine 😐.

BTW, the best deal I found on Magpul MIAD/MOE grip cores was at Primary Arms. If you're currently in need of one, check it out.

My core doesn't lock into place either but is a snug fit so it doesn't bother me much.
