Try to decrease fps, its better to do it by decreasing hammer spring tension, the other way is to decrease reg preassure..... but for accuracy its better and also easier only to decrease HST.....i have seen that fx shoots those king heavies very accurate arround 820 to 850fps...... in my case i mounted a poly barrel to my raw hm1000x .25, this barrel is build arround the MK1(this pellet have better BC than MK2 and also than .30 44.75gr).... my rifle push this pellet @875fps and here you can see 2 groups at 95 meters (not a windy day/weighed pellets).

that was a pretty ballsy move there, your "old" streamline is what? a year old. i would NOT have the stones to sand down liner tubes to custom fit, my concern is weakening the tube to point of failure. if you took off about 1/2 it's thickness would that not risk an increased chance of warping/bending , or even cracking? even so, one hell of an effort, good luck with it.

chuck, that is a response of a very seasoned veteran. i think very much the same way about investing in my hobbies as well. i have barely a year into pcp airguns and am understandably cautious , for now. but i did do a regulator change only 6 months in. but that is childs play next to what your undertaking. i may just be asking you questions in 6 months about possibly doing same alteration to my streamline.

I was shooting 3-4 times a week plus at home, that may have gave me that little edge. I do believe we came to a mutual agreement when tuning to leave it where it is since the velocity was so tight 😜. Aaaaand look at where it settled in and the groups are proof!!! Hahaha! It’s awesome I can’t thank you enough. I can’t wait to go shoot Sunday and check out what your Streamline is doing all back together with the stock barrel. I’m also anxious for the range in WPB to open so we can shoot 200yd with the Streamlines or even 300yd with some .50 caliber Hammers😎. Also curious what the old .357 bulldog will do at long range.
