Hello CHUCK --=--

In doing all of your experimental work, which is greatly appreciated, have you ever run into fitting one of the newer X barrels into a Gen I Wildcat 25 caliber? I am assuming that while it may not fit initially, perhaps the brass barrel inlet will need to be switched from old to new as you are stating, but just wondering if you have already done this? If a 22 barrel is available and is switched, I assume that I will need a 22 probe, correct? I am also guessing that since the platform is currently a 25, that the air inlet opening will be over sized for the 22, giving it more air to drive the velocity? Lastly, wondering if the 22 barrel, if it fits the breech, is as long as the 25 barrel, I'm not sure how long the 25 barrel is right now, but I know that the Wildcat 22's are shorter than the Wildcat 25.

Thanks CHUCK for all of your insights and guidance.

Hell, if you get sub MOA at 100 yards with the Heavy Mk2, I might take you up on that and kick my .30 Bobcat Mk2 to the curb... ;) That gun is "only" getting MOA on about 1/2 of my five shot groups with the 50.1 grain JSB Heavy. I'll have to be satisfied with performance, since no way in hell will that SL ever look as Badass as the Bobcat with the Terminator Skulls hydro dip.

Unfreakinbelievable! I might have to try that on my BC, but I'll wait until after EBR. And yes, I've had a Huma on the BC for over a year now. Reg. pressure set at 165 bar for 82 FPE. Love the Humas! When I first put that one in my Renegade, and ran it over the chrony, I thought my chrony was broken because I kept getting 860, DU01, DU02, DU03, 859, DU01, DU02, 861, DU01, DU02, like that... And that was with 18.1 JSB out of the tin! I didn't say so in my ad, but my actual ES for a 20 shot string was almost always under 5 fps.

I'm pushing the 50.1 vice the 44.75 because the 50.1 have a BC that is MUCH better than the 44.75, probably even better than the .25 cal JSB Heavy MK2. Both have equivalent accuracy in calm conditions. I shoot the 50.1s at between 855 and 860 FPS. A HAMMER! ;) No, don't clean and weigh my pellets. Its not so critical on the heavy 50 grain pellets. Deviation is very small out of the tin.
