Installing Joe B Valve on Scott SCBA Tank

Hey All,

I’ve got a a scott scba tank and just purchased Joe B’s Din300 valve so I can have the slow flow going to the tank. Is there anything special I need to know on removing the scba valve and dropping in the new valve? The tank will be empty and the valve will be open in case that’s a thought.
I’ve done this on 4500psi paintball tanks and basically it was check the threads for debris, clean the interior of the bottle without introducing debris, check the o-ring on new valve, check burst discs or swap to new ones and install. Just a smidge past snug since the o-ring will seal it?
