I know they can be PITA to install at first but that's the only rings I use now and I love them.

What i do is:

1. Install 20 MOA rings on the front and 10 MOA rings on the back for total 30 MOA

2. Install scope with only four outer screws

3. Go and shoot gun at 50 yards to check for windage (make sure scope is in the middle of widage adjustment) , if impact is dead center I leave it alone and install rest of the screws,

4. If windage is off ,unscrew four front mount screws one turn, remove top of the mount on the back mount , lift scope little bit (that's why front mount was loosen up) and slide MOA insert in the needed direction. Reinstall top of the mount on the back and retighten all screws.

5. Shoot gun at 50 yards if dead on, install rest of the screws if not repeat step 4

Actually I never read the instruction and after installing few of them, now I can set up my gun in 30 minutes, hope that helps.

If by any chance B doesnt... Its 1-15/16 at the widest center and hair under 1-7/8 towards the ends where they are tapered.
