Instagram Live with Steve from AEAC this Friday!

A general question for either or both:

What do you see as the industry’s solution to high pressure air supply? Adding $500-1500 to the cost of even a entry level pcp for a tank or compressor has to limit sales. Steve has commented that even for as a person in better than normal physical shape hand pumping to 3000 psi is not fun.

This is a question I'd really like to see answered.

Before I got bit hard by the airgun bug, I could never justify on a cost analysis basis of shooting airguns. I can shoot 22LR for 4 cents/ea and a Ruger 10/22 semi-automatic heavy barrel target variant costs $400. I can hit a 2" gong at 100 yards so repeatably it's boring.

The airgun I bought cost $720, the used tank cost $95, a Yong Heng compressor just cost me $290, and JSB .22 Jumbo Monsters cost 6 cents/ea. If I went with a new tank and compressor from Pyramyd it would be $680 for the cheapest compressor and $550 for the cheapest large new tank.

I'm not bashing airgunning as I'm investing in the hobby, but I am sure that there are folks who are really put off by the costs.

Hi Guys... firstable hope you and yours be safe..

Now some questions:

1.- It seems that we are entering in the Slugs Era what is your opinion about the future of pellets?

2.- On Field Target there are different options of professional and special air rifles exclusively for competition; for benchrest competition and specifically for 100 yards we use hunting rifles that if is true, are amazing accurate, but why don't we have a variety or at least some brands that make professional or special airguns to focus and be exclusively for long range competition? And if exits what are these?

3.- If you (both) had to pick only one airgun setup for everything or most airgun activities what would be that and why?

greetings

Hey fellas....This question is for both of you....

With the current trend being big bores concerning caliber popularity (at least here in FAC world), Do either of you foresee .20cal ever resurfacing amongst manufacturers to the degree of the 3 top calibers? Or, at least to the degree of say .30cal?

Thanks for all you guys do and this opportunity.

Be well!

Hello guys,

I’ve just seen the new video out from AAR on YouTube that review the FX impact x & impact mk2 without power plenum.

https://youtu.be/MUfYWPjlpO0

In this video Andy dismount the original silencer and... it’s empty! Then he compared it to the donnyFl sumo and said that there not difference in output sound?!

this model is limited at 12foot pound in uk, i supposed that it is quieter that the fac model but is there another explanation?
i saw in the Steve video about the crown continuum that the original silencer is a donnyFL, why is not the case everywhere in the other country?

thanks you!

Jerome 👍😉

I have a Hatsan 135 .22 scope destroyer. I had went thru 8 center points, one field @ stream from Dicks and 2 Leapers 4x16x40 1" tube Then I upped to a 4x16x56 30mm tube Leapers. The 4x16x56 30mm one had issues sent it back to leapers. And the did open box on the next one and torched tested it for me before sending. Then I still had a issue with that scope sent it back and they retested it and it was fine. So I have then send a solid one peace low profile mount . End of all problems been happy with the scope for several years now no problem.

I did have to cut an extra weaver slot for the mount to fit properly.

+2

I really really really want to get into PCP but, I live in a somewhat remote area, with very thin population density. No PCP market for about 5 hours of driving time, that I know of. My only source of air will be my own compressor.

I am one that will have to stick with springers until there is a reliable, affordable solution that does not need more maintenance and baby sitting time than it spends doing its job. I have high hopes for the Hill EC-3000.

Hand pumping killed my HUMA
