I guess this is my first post along with my first serious adult pellet rifle. I just had a refurbished one come in from Pyramyd last week. I haven’t had much chance to shoot it yet as it’s been muzzle loader season up here and I’ve been looking to fill my freezer again. I did get a chance to shoot it a little in sighting it in and that’s one thing I can say I don’t like is the plastic sights, especially the front sight. It has a cheap and flimsy feel to it like it could break at any time. The rear sights seem a little better but honestly, this thing just screams for a scope. I got the .22 caliber version for some cheap off-season target practice and pest elimination and I think for squirrels at 25 yards, it should work fine. My chronograph for some reason didn’t seem to be able to pick up the pellets over the screen though(might have been the weather conditions that day) but I’d really like to see what the actual velocity is at the muzzle and at 25 yards as compared to what the advertised velocity is.
All-in-all though, given my limited familiarity with pellet rifles, I’m pretty happy with it so far with the exception of the plastic sights. I’m still working with the T06 trigger adjustment and it’s improving but it’s no 1911 match grade or Timney trigger. Time will tell though I suppose.
