Innorel RT90C tripod with Vault Outdoors Wrecking ball head

Just got it all tonight and together. An amazing piece of equipment to use for hunting. Will be posting more about it soon when I really get time to use it.

Thanks guys! I'd say my research was worth it and paid off. Again I really really like it! Idk how much I'll be using bipods from here on out honestly.

Put it this way, the money I saved on going this route, I decided I needed to be able to use my Tikka T1X with this also and ended up ordering a KRG Bravo for it so I can run an ARCA Rail on it.

Will say this though, how the ball head is designed you can't ever really lock it down. You can crank the adjustment down tight but it's never really locked down. So with that being said the mount needs to be closer to the center of the rifle than further out. Can't say it's an issue for me as it makes sense to put it by the balance point of the gun but others might want a lock down feature like the Anvil 30 has.

I highly recommend Leofoto LH-40 head, maybe not the Anvil-30 but for half the price very well build and can "lock down" a heavy rifle if off-center.

Having used this tripod quite a bit now I just gotta say this is one of the best things I've spent my money on for this hobby. I absolutely love it and have just made so many more kills with it while pesting than I would normally just cause of the ease of setting it in any spot and having a very very steady rest. I keep it in my truck now always and use it almost daily.

@Dairyboy To be sure I’m understanding correctly, is this the tilt adjustment that doesn’t fully lock? If so, have you figured out a way to let the rifle sit atop the head and tripod where you aren’t physically supporting your rifle without having to worry about toppling the tripod with your gun?

Yes I've had no issues tightening it down enough where I can walk away from the gun and not worry about it moving or toppling over.

I blame the bump on this thread for me ordering a Wrecking Ball head. Last time they were out of stock - but they were available now. For $179 this is a very nice ball head.

Seems to work best on a well balanced mount point. If the weight is more towards the rear stock it can move a little bit but I've been able to tighten it to pretty much much no movement.
