Inline regulators for SCBA tanks for running tethered, what are you all running?

So I am new to this sport within the last year and have learned SO MUCH here, and from other members at other places too , great community within the airgun world.

Anyways!

I am wondering what other people are running for an inline reg setup to run their rifles tethered? I have a texan .308 I am building that will be primarily at the range, I have 3 scba tanks and an extreme big bore booster pump but I would like to get the most out of my air and make my setup most efficient. So I am just asking what you guys are running for regulators?

Also beautiful setup with that rifle, I going to see how far out I can take this as a carbine (I got it used in trade for my piece of junk Umarex hammer (but thats another story) I will likely be changing the barrel out for longer when the time comes but as of now I am casting and sizing .309 113 gr (at least starting here) . I love this forum so much, the wealth of knowledge is great, and its an enjoyable place to be.
 
I have a Regman from Airtanksplus.com, works great. Box holds all your whips and probes too. It connects via hoses not directly to the tank, which has is pros and cons but I like having it at bench level while shooting or tuning, males it easy to see and adjust. I also have a tee block which allows two tanks to be tethered before the regulator.

First two replies, both recommend the same thing. Looks like Ill be ordering one of those and I was just looking at the box as well. I like the idea of having it connected via hoses, I have 2 36" inch stainless braided 6000 psi hoses (1 end male, 1 female) from lethal air so this is going to be awesome!

Specs on output pressure 9 psi rise/1000 psi drop in inlet pressure., 10 psi drop when going from 0 to 20 SCFM

Specs on it are 70 psi rise/1000 psi inlet drop. I own both and the Dwyer digital pressure gauge really showed the creep on the second one as inlet pressure dropped.

I'm saying that when you fill your large tank just stop at the max pressure of your gun. No regulator required. I'm speaking about PCPs in general not unregulated guns. I guess the original post could be taken another way.

Why would I do that when I have so many shots I can use from 4500 psi to 3000? Like an insane amount more. You have far less from 3000 down to minimal operating pressure.
 
I don't understand your point. You just asked about running tethered. The point of being tethered is to use the massive capacity of the air tank (as compared to the tube or bottle on a PCP), so you'll get hundreds, if not thousands (depending on the gun, yada, yada, yada) more shots without the concern of refilling the gun. So, no matter if your gun's max pressure is 3000 or 4500psi, the SCBA will still have much, much more capacity than your gun at the same pressure, and you'll have that many more shots. True, if your gun runs at 3000, you'll be missing out on the SCBA's 4500psi capability, but @heavy-impact's suggestion was a zero-cost solution. All he's saying (not that I need to put words in his mouth), is that there's another option.

You can also leave the full SCBA hooked up, as in a tethered scenario, but keep its valve closed, till you want to top off every X number of shots. A bit more of a pain, but then you'll use the tank's full potential.

You will get a bell curve shooting that way. Unless you want to top the tank off on the gun every 2 or 3 shots. Running an inline regulator from a larger higher pressure tank ultimately eliminates that.



I have an extreme big bore booster pump for when the tank gets below usable pressure. This , coupled with an inline reg will ensure i truly do get the absolute most out if my fill while being more efficient.
