Inexpenisve Scope Levels

One of the issues I have, is scope length. I have a Leapers 4x16, and with rings evenly spaced, I have less than 1/4 inch on either side of either ring. I do have a rail mounted one I bough off of Amazon for $9.95, I find it troublesome to use. I do have a Leapers with a built in level, but in my opinion, it takes up too much of the view. 

I also believe that keeping the scope level is an innate ability. Whether everyone has this ability, I can't say. 

Try shooting on a steep slope and see how far off your instinct is from actual level! it can be surprising. I also think stock fit and your particular style of holding the rifle plays a big part. I have levels on my PCPs, shoot my springers by instinct at closer ranges.
