Indy pump arm issue?

So you want information after you sold it, well maybe the new owner will read also.

The FX Independence and Indy are certainly one of Fredrick’s mind creations. Having an all in one rifle that does not need air tanks or a pump/compressor sounds just great for a few of us. But having that all in one rifle has presented some problems. There is not a hand pump out there that will not need rebuilding at sometime in its life. And now connect it to a $1.700 dollar rifle who wants to mess with it now.

I do believe that FX should support the Indy style rifles better with pump rebuild and maintenance information.

My Independence has been just a terrific rifle for me. I have rebuilt the pump once and all other changes that were performed were done mostly because that is what a toolmaker likes to do.

Probably the best thing you could do with your Independence and takes one little screw and drilling and taping a hole. Should have been installed from the factory with a similar safety measure. Then the pivot hole problem would never had existed. Such an easy fix.

Another safety measure installed.

Every rifle should have a sling.

Maybe a little better handle on the pump would be nice.

While this rifle is perfect for my use I strongly feel it is not for everybody. My rifle is like a well oiled machine now and is spot dead on first shot or second, powerful, and quiet just what I wanted. PDF. files will be removed in a week so if you wish to save please do.
