INCOMING RAPTOR MINI!!!

Can you put a standard buffer tube for fixed stocks on that folding adapter?

Yes sir. As long as it's mil-spec it will screw right in. I'm just using the tube I had from an old AR build right now, but anything will work.

Something that's been bugging the hell out of me has been figuring out how I wanted to setup this Mini with a sling. I'm partial to my padded Blue Force single point sling for airgun hunting. So today I changed out the stock for a Magpul SL (weighs less than the previous stock I had on with the add-on cheek riser), but the cool thing about these LT folding adapters is that they have a sling mount port underneath. Threw on a a little QD sling mount today and I'm super happy with it:

Hi All, Just received my Raptor Mini .30 last week. Setting it up to shoot extreme bench rest (if there is one this year). Sighted it in @ 75 yards shooting @ 905. It is pretty windy here in the Central California Valley and so far I am able to shoot inside a inch most of the time. Still learning the gun, I like the idea of maybe changing the butt stock looks really cool.

It's dead simple, just like any AR 👍

I'm finding it extraordinarily easy to tune this Raptor. I also found that my reg gauge was off a bit at a certain pressure range, and I did some additional power testing with a different gauge for 65.5gr NSAs. At 198bar on the reg, it's sending them over my chrono at 860FPS 😮 That's 107FPE with a ~17" barrel. Frigging amazing!

The problem that I have now is with the magazines. Smaller slugs are rotating and getting jammed as the probe cycles back to load the next projectile. The smallest NSA slug that doesn't get jammed are the 61.5gr, which is kind if a bummer as I had planned to shoot 49.5 or 54.5 most of the time. Without a single shot tray and my desire for using a magazine, I'll need to figure out a low tech solution to this problem 🤔

Papyosh, has a single shot loader (similar to a Rowan Engineering Daystate model) made for Raptor’s and is doing a little tweaking on them now. Motorhead also manufactured one but don’t know if he is selling, might want to ask him. Your Mini is a fire breathing Raptor! LOL! Enjoy 😉.

Hey Ghost,

I gave up on the magazine as much as I would like to use one. I'm going to machine a tray real soon. That wagon wheel in there should fully capture the slug or pellet then end of problem with the length once and for all. Might be just the excuse I need to finally buy a 3D printer.....

Cheers,Scott

I'll ping Papy and see if he has some.

Keeping my eyes peeled for local deals for a good endmill. It's a pain setting up the attachment on my lathe 😢
