I have one of those cheap Chinese B3 air rifles and wanted to know if anybody knows where I can get a spring guide for it. I could make one myself if I had a lathe. But would probably need a Mill too because that hole for the pin has to be dead center of the hat.Mine has the black plastic one which is very brittle. It shattered into a bunch of pieces.I’ve looked all over the Internet and couldn’t find one. I Emailed Mike from Flyin Dragon and he actually didn’t answer me. If I bought another one, I wouldn’t want the black plastic one Though.I seen where a guy made one out of pipe fittings but don’t want to do that. Although it doesn’t have to be super Precision ,I would want it more precise than that and would also require a lot of belt sanding which I don’t have.I really don’t wanna throw the gun away because it was shooting pretty good. But if I can’t get a spring guide, I’ll probably just give it away to anybody that wants it.

That's a $20.00 rifle you want to fix.

3D print a replacement would be easiest.

OR! Old school You can fix it yourself with cheap hardware store parts such as a proper sized trim to fit (hacksaw and file) long round head bolt, 2 different sized stacks of washers, and round threaded Allen socket or internally threaded round sleeve nut to make your own DIY replacement all metal spring guide for around $5-$6. If you order a replacement custom made of metal will probably cost 1.5x-2x or more than the cost of the gun.

Use a secured strapped down, clamped tight or vised drill to chuck what you need as a makeshift backyard mechanic mini lathe and use a file or stone.

You can go to a craft and hobby store to find delrin type material you can drill lathe with a sharp chisel if you want to be creative it 3d print it if you have one or a buddy to make it.

They used to be a $20 air rifle. Maybe you haven’t checked the prices  lately. I did call Mike and got no response. I’m not gonna do it with some makeshift drill and all that. I was a machinist for 32 years and believe in doing things the proper way. If it becomes too much Trouble I’ll just give the gun away and let somebody else fix it.I live many miles from the last shop that I worked from. If I was still there I would just drop off a sketch to one of my work buddies and let them make it for me. I know they would because I made things for a lot of people in there.

I would drop off a sketch with a note that a cold pack is waiting when done.
