In Mesa AZ at 2018 EBR

Thanks for the updates Mike.

Looks like the top shooters (who aren't 'big names') are consistently great shooters. The 'big names' seem to mostly be so due to their YouTube businesses.

Quite something how many Red Wolves are being shot this year. I think they're doing well by their shooters - the scores with them will probably wind up increasing Red Wolf sales by a fair bit. Marocchi and Buchannan should be pretty happy fellows following this event!

Thanks to all. Was disappointed last year when results were few and far between. So I posted for all of you interested. Yes, this was my first EBR. In all honesty, I should have won the Sportsman’s Class Speed Silo if not for my dumb ass mistake. There’s always next year...

@gwelo, all the .22 Red Wolfs were the HP.

Appreciate accuracy points if you liked my updates.

Hey Mike, thanks for taking the time to make the updates. Very much appreciated. We might be seeing a mass sale-off on used 25's now. Not me though lol. I'm way too far invested.

JK

I don't know about a mass sell-off of .25s, but I'd bet money on an extra uptick in sales of Bantam Sniper HR .22 and Red Wolf .22 - Messrs Marocchi and Buchanan are likely quite pleased!

Wind flags were everywhere. At the lanes to the left where I was near lane 2 they weren’t that helpful since the winds were swirling against the berm. Changing directions every 30 to 40 seconds. My problem was I didn’t have enough patience... So I had 20 shots in the red but 5 shots in the 4 or 5 ring which killed my score.

What a blast, I didn't shoot this year. I came down to hang out and see how the benchrest game is played. Met some amazing people. I normally shoot FT and I will tell you, BR people are just as just as helpfull and nice as the FT people. I learned a lot from the group. Michael shot amazing along with many others. My buds Sandy C., Tony T., John B., Tom A., and JWR made it to the podium. Congratulations to all who shot under tough conditions.

AOA did a great job organizing and keeping the match running smoothly even with the rain.

Raffle was fun even though I didn't win anything. Saw some generosity in the raffle. People won prizes and gave them to others, big ticket prizes 👍

I'll be back next year to shoot and hang with a great group of people..

Glad all the steel targets used worked without issues. AAT

Yes, but for the .22 you can’t think “normal” .22 that we are all used to shooting 18.1 grain pellets at 30 fpe. We’re talking .22 with 25.4 grain pellets shooting at over 50 fpe, which is considerably more powerful and with a much higher BC than even the standard .25 JSB Kings. I’d think of these new HP .22’s as a new class of airgun. No normal human could have shot 215 today at 100 yards with a .22 shooting 30 fpe. At least not in this universe...
