Checked in at AOA this afternoon. Got my event tags and name tag. Round and Bench number on the back of each tag.

Dhart shoot you are there nothing to loose

I’ll watch this year. Perhaps I’ll shoot next year. Competing isn’t a big deal to me. Rules, regulations, time schedules, yada yada. I don’t really need all that. I’m thrilled as can be just stepping out onto my back patio and launching lead on a daily basis. But I will very happily enjoy watching the Extreme Benchrest competitors do their thing.

Day 1 was the American Field Target 🎯 and practice/sight in at the small bore range. Big Bore today also. 5 lanes at AFT with 4 targets each and they are shot twice, so 8 shots per lane. First 3 lanes were fairly easy, and last two lanes were ball busters. Rumors are that @michael cleaned the course. Official results to follow when published. Lots of fun, met Ted, Jared, Giles, Joe Wayne Rae, the Axelssons (FX), Daystate CEO - can’t temember his name, very nice Italian guy, Steve from AEAC, Michael from AGN, the Utah Aurgun guys, the AoA guys, and more I’m sure.

Tomorrow is 50 yard BR (morning) and first card of EBR at 75 yards (afternoon). Should be fun.

Just finished up second full day at EBR. Shot 75 yard BR Main Event. The one flight of Sportsman Class shot before the three flights of Pro Class. Went to practice range after and shot @brian.in.mi 308 Slayer and was hitting steel targets at 225 yards... EBR shirts are pretty nice. No scores posted yet from today or yesterday.
