in mass ok to shoot air rifles

so i had a little run in with the law ,,i live north of Boston officer said next time out hed arrest me ,, well finally talked to the LT of my town ,he told me your a big boy over 18 your property go right ahead and shoot ,WAHOO refered me to mgl 267 section 12 b also met a great guy whos talking me to the local fish and game club ,,and introduce me hopefully ive found a long range spot to shoot my large calibers ? Ya they have really stepped on the second amendment. So far left, they think they need to protect you from your self. In 1975 I was discharged from the Coast Guard in New Bedford Massachusetts. I had all my firearms on my ship. I had to get finger printed, mug shot and a permit form the Chief of Police. And state police. To transport my personal fire arms out of the state to go home to Florida. 1975 . And if you got caught in Massachusetts with a gun with out a permit it was 10 years automatically.
