How is the quality?

Like many things coming from CPR, there is always the chance of getting a bad one. I’ve had mine for 8 months and use it use it exclusively for all the pcps that I shoot from the bench. If I had the need for another UUQ 8”, I wouldn’t hesitate to get one. Uj

Just got one because I keep dropping my LCS the other bipods are too narrow. Going to install it over the weekend.

Thanks to Amazon I got it in 1 day! And WOW is all I can say, it is awesome!!!! It is much wider/bigger/more stout than I thought! Very solid and great design with pretty descent over all build quality. It easily can handle large caliber center fire, even the cant lock adjustment is rock solid!! It’s a fantastic bench bipod, a little too big for carrying hut I got other bipods for that

Mine is the same, this is what I do. Level the rifle then adjust any cant by extending the legs

Thanks Erlis, I lost my mind and bought an atlas bipod. 

The "cant" issue is probably the difference in $70 & $400. Atlas and such. I just want my guns to stay still.

What I really want is an ammo supply. I've converted Annie to strictly 34.9 NSA. I wanted to keep The compact maverick pellets. Oh, well. I'm hard pressed to expend any more hard earned cash in ball bats!

I just got mine yesterday. And yes. The cant or the fact that it is not user friendly. Could be an issue to some. I lubed the plastic friction pieces with Parker Super O-lube. (That’s poop is nasty slippery ) So , When the legs are pointing straight down. The cant works with the weight of the gun. But when they are pivoted to the front or rear. It creates a bind on the moving parts. Then the only way to pivot the gun is to lift the weight off of the bi pod. 
I have not had a chance to shoot with mine yet. But all the previous comments are correct. This setup should work fine if your at a bench or at the least just sitting in one spot. I don’t think its very user friendly for a hunting situation. 

Finally got my UUQ bipod today. Don’t have Amazon Prime so mine took the slow boat from Brazil. Yes Brazil. It shipped from Kentucky yesterday by UPS SurePost. Which by the way is fast in my neighborhood.

This is not a unboxing review - its already out of the box.

This is not a review after weeks/months of usage - haven’t used it once yet.

Here are my first impressions-photos - and I am very impressed.

Even the plastic zip lock bag it came in is heavy duty. Comes with a one year warranty and the delivery label says its from: Ajoite USA, 172 TRADE ST, LEXINGTON, KY 406-511-2607. Wonder if that means it can be returned to them for warranty work if needed? See photos 3, 5.

It is bigger and heavier than my UTG Recon 6-9 inch bipod. It also does not pan like the Recon. It will tilt like the Recon but it is a more time consuming process. See photos 10, 20, 22. For bench shooting fine. If you are shooting in conditions that require constant tilt adjustments then not so great. It is however MORE STABLE. 



I thought it would be much wider then the Recon, but not so much. With the legs set at the same length it is, but only slightly. See photos 13, 16, 17. With the legs set in the 2nd notch from the front they are on about the same angle as the Recon. See photo 13. Also about the same length fully retracted as the Recon is in the 3rd notch. See photos 13, 16.



The legs pivot point is higher than that of the Recon - so the legs have to extend further for the same leg angle and shooting height. See photo 25.





The tilt adjustment lever hits the bottle when rotated but the lever is spring loaded and by pulling it out slightly the lever will freely rotate on the bold so tightening and level alignment is not a issue. See photo 27.





Wish that was the case for the rail attachment lever. It is a pain to tighten and align. Only way I see to do it is by adding to that small brass shim. See photos 3, 10. The one with the allen screw would have probably been the better option. One other thing here. Notice in photo 10 that small protrusion the locking bolt goes thru opposite the lever. That protrusion is all that contacts the rail on that side to hold the bipod on. Too short in my opinion.

Mostly made from metal. The gizmo in photo 20 with the 2 springs coming out of it and the corresponding piece in photo 22 are some sort of composite (plastic?). Along with the tilt lever and the outside leg tubes.

Now if just doesn’t wobble all over the place or break when I use it. I think it does look good on my Bantam. Photo 34.

EDIT: Almost forgot - it does come with a built in sling swivel.

Forgot to include that the bipod has no way to lock the leg adjustment length in between the 5/16 spaced notches. 

Shot a few rounds this evening.

There is some up and down flexing, about 1/8 inch when the gun is first put on the shooting bench. Alter close examination the flexing is in the front of the STOCK, not in the bipod. Never noticed it with the UTG Recon. I think because the UUQ's legs reach farther forward, see photo 34 above, they are applying a little more pressure on the Bantam's front rail. I placed the bipod as far forward on the rail as possible, will move it back a little and see what that does.

Here is a copy of a target I shot this evening in slightly gusty conditions. Three consecutive 5 shot groups at 30 yds. Well really there are 6 shots in the first target. I was using Crosman 14.3 chrome domes and that upper right hole is pretty much what Crosmans do for me. One out of 25 or 30 just seems to go into never-never land.



Like I said it is very stable and works great from the bench.
