Impact X Tuning after break in period *with Photos*

So I have run about 5k shots through my impact x 22 caliber since receiving it. I Have done two tunings with the chrony since receiving it - both times getting it better.

Today, after the third cleaning and seasoning with 100 or so shots - I ran a few shot cycles and retuned. Here are the final results.

Settings: hammer spring 2.5; power: max; reg 120

Shots: 18

Average: 907 ft/s

SD: 3 ft/s

Min: 903 ft/s

Max: 913 ft/s

Spread: 10 ft/s

Holy Crap - in that 18 shot string this thing is slinging a less than 1.5” group at 95 yards in 5-10mph winds!

thanks for all the learning provided here!

So after some thought - just about anyone can get online and say they shot whatever group on any day - here is the proof. I got up this morning and shot one magazine - 18 shots - at a freshly painted target, 95 yards on the other side of my pond. I took the first 4 shots to guage windage (group on left) and then set the next 12 in one group. Mind you, no bags, 6-12mph winds averaging to 8 mph (see screenshot of DarkSky). Whole group (including 4 warmup shots) is 2". And yes, I stood in 60 degree water to get that shot... you're welcome.

What this isn't saying is how great a shooter I am, it is saying how great a gun this can be when properly outfitted. Lots of guns can do this - but this one is mine! Again, thanks to all on this forum for helping me get this thing honed in so well!

I was taking you at your word mate, no need to go standing in the water. Sounds like a good tune.

Hah! I figured most people are honest but that one turd comment did get me to thinking about all the hype - both positive and negative about Airguns - fx in particular. I just wanted newbies to know it’s not that hard. This is my first pcp Airgun ever and it was a breeze to tune and get working well.
