Help!!! With Impact thumb screw barrel lock

I spoke with Thad at UA, he told me he kept his thumb screw barrel lock, he also said I can replace it for the new one but is not need it. I’m wondering why FX removed the dimple on the new barrels, I think the little hole helps as a reference point on how far can we slide the barrel in, also to me it seems the screw will seat better in the dimple. I’m gonna try the old thumb screw and see if it works with the new barrel if not I’ll replace it for the new one, what i like about the old thumb screw is that I can put a little sticker like arrow shape to use it as a reference point on how much I screw it in, by doing this is a constant pressure against the barrel, no POI change when I remove the barrel and put it back in.
