Impact Stackable Moderator vs Aftermarket?

@N89, I've had both the Sumo and Tatsu on my .22 Daystate Renegade, and the sound quieting was about the same. I can't say that for the .25 since I don't have one...

Ok I got the Donnyfl Tatsu today and have some into. I’m going to make a new post. I’ll call it .25 Wildcat Compact Moderator vs Donnie’s Tatsu Moderator

Maybe I'm just deaf but my .30 Impact w/ stock stack (one left out so it fits in the case) is totally silent. Hear a little puff of air and the trap/target rings a few milliseconds later.
Can we do better?
OK. I'll bite. Who makes one that will fit in the case w/o disassembly? According to my tape measure, that means you have 5" to play with.

I'm having a hard time making a decision to buy a moderator for my .30 Impact.
On one hand, the DonnieFl or the Hugget look cool!
On the other hand, my Impact isn't loud.
If there is no other real function, besides sound suppression...like I said, I'm having a hard time making the decision.
Now, getting the Airforce Texan .45 to sound like an Impact, I want it!!

For what it’s worth - my group size at 100y improved 50 percent with the Donny Fl sumo. Something about the way it strips air - keeps the turbulence off the pellet better than the stock. As far as sound, it seems about the same volume, just a different tone... plus it looks cool.

I had 2 of the FX stock moderators after ordering a wildcat mkII. I put screen and foam in the first half and some 3d printed baffles
in the 2nd. Very effective. Long, yes. but much quieter than either the stock FX unit or the DonnyFL that came with the wildcat.
