Impact settings (Ted)

He is a competitor. There is nothing lame about working hard to get the most out of your gun. Being secretive about his settings seems to have paid off. He won his class at EBR. If you put in all the time and effort that he has to perfect your rifle, why would you give your competition all of your secrets. I would suggest that you spend less time waiting for someone to give you settings for your rifle and more time unlocking your own talent. I know Ted said in his Impact review that he would share some of his findings, but we can't expect him to give away his competitive edge.

A "competitor" ?
In the flashy world of air gunning ? Main prize money, 5000 dollar. Once a year.
This isn't formula 1 mr Roberts :D:D

And isn't that what his youtube channel is for ? Giving tips ?

Are you saying he's not going to anymore, because now he's a "competitor" ?

Isn't it funny how, when somebody gets succesful we think that we are entitled to some of that success as well?

Ted owes us NOTHING!

Instead lets be grateful to him (and others like the Matt's and the Nigel's and the Ernest's etc.) who made the hobby so much more interesting and exciting by GIVING us free videos and insights about the hobby!
Yes of course they are making money from it (at last...) but first they CREATED something themselves that wasn't there before, and the initial drive was not the money itself, but the love of the hobby!

So do not go about and DEMAND answers, but ASK politely, and don't EXPECT anything,

Of course the real answer has already been expertly stated by bill_dd97: "Tons of experimentation, thousands of pellets and lots of time", or in other words:DEDICATION and SACRIFICE!

Ok all the above is true and he doesn't have to share but if you do watch his vids people were asking well before the comp and he did say he would share after... he did post his sub moa group all excited and people really seemed interested then. Including myself but my impact is crazy accurate its most likely he is just a better shooter than myself. Congratz to Ted on the win and if he does end up sharing of course I will listen and if he doesnt I have a new challenge well met and accepted.

My impact will do what teds does without a doubt!! This gun gives me so much confidence!! I had the barrel set screw giving me issues but I've got it all taken care of and this thing will shoot lasers no joke!! Teds settings aren't gonna change anything for you just figure it out for yourself! It's cool to watch his videos I love them but its all gonna come down to you shooting your gun and figuring it out yourself!!

Also, the guy just got back from a week away from his family and career. I'm sure he wants to catch up with what is most important to him before even thinking about staring at a computer editing video content.
If he decides to put out anything at all (and I wouldn't blame him at all if he didn't), I wouldn't expect to see it in the very near future.
The amount of time, dedication, and thought that goes into the precision shooting that Ted is achieving is incredible. It's fine by me if he wants to keep his secrets a secret.

Guys guys chill out ... I don't even have an impact. I have a boss and i shoot sub MOA groups all the time . (front rest only, but INSIDE no wind) @ 110 yards (100 mtr) .

I am just interested in the abilities of tuning of this rifle, i would like a guide of how to approach setting it up, IF i would ever buy it.

You guys HAVE to stop being so overly defensive, it feels a little weird and i don't think it's good advertising for this site.

It's like i'm at an iphone convention or something.
