    Can someone tell me what is this sound I ear from inside my Impact from the valve area or trigger.

    I have boosted the sound for you to ear better.

    Yup, the hammer is not under spring tension until cocked – it’s been a standard ‘feature’ of FX guns for the past 10/12 years. It’s a major facter in making the cocking action lighter or easier.

    I understand but when i cock the hammer sound still can be eared.

    Thanks the free floating spring delrine guide, has a longer slide sound when not cock.

    look through the hammer spring you will see it move—when the muzzel is pointing up you will see the guide then point the muzzel down you will see the end of the guide.

    The noise is coming from the inside of your head. It’s your conscious, and it’s telling you that you should have never gotten an Impact. : )
