As with the OP my MKII turned up without the parts to run at higher power, changing the valve and plenum is no different to the rebuild after a strip in the video.

FX stated they would not be selling the upgrade parts.

I would make sure you upgrade the bumper as per the video on here recently by EDOSAN? I think you will definitely need it for the extra power.

Are you referring to the C3 bumper? Im having trouble finding video that seems to show that upgrade. (but i may have been looking for the wring thing) Thanks!!
