I'm now the owner of a brand spankin' new .25 cal, MKII Impact w power Plenum and 700 mm barrel. Yee Haww!
I've been shooting Impacts since 2016 and have struggled along side all of Impact's growing pains. My Gen 1 is now a bonafide shooter....tack driver if you will, but it took some work. I felt it cheaper in the long run to just buy the newest set up rather than try to retro fit.
Anyway, long story short. The weather had not been cooperative since Tuesday's delivery but I've managed to record, out of the box, and quick tuneup data.What I'd like to know are some basic set up expectations, i.e., what speeds the 700 mm pellet liner prefers. My gen 1 600 mm liner likes JSB MKII at +/-860 fps. Same for the 700?
The reg came out of the box at 100 Bar with the gun shooting at full open valve at 800 fps
I set the reg to 110Bar for an initial V of 910 fps and used the Valve knob to drop it to 875. ES and SD are a bit high but this gun needs to break in ...barely 30 pellets through it so far.
So for those who have this set up ....am I on the right track? Now just gotta wait for the weather to cooperate before I can get out and check groups.
