Impact mk2 upgrade kit, how much?

The MKII upgrade kit is not available yet and to benefit from the larger plenum etc. you’ll need to enlarge some ports and upgrade some internals. Not a drop in kit.

That's not what this guy claims. I think he is all bs. He claim fx sold him the mk2 kit that has everything from valve housing, larger plenum, new gauges, bigger mag. But when I asked him to show us the receipt he couldn't lmao. I called fxusa asking for mk2 kit they claim they aren't selling it or do not have a date when it will or if it even will be on sale. Even contact Utah airgun and they said they do not sell it.

You were told in the other thread you linked to that FX gave him the parts because he purchased his new Impact the day before the MKII was released. He doesn't have a receipt because he didn't buy the parts.

You may want to read the forum rules before you continue down this path. https://www.airgunnation.com/topic/member-vendor-laws/

Here is what I know - the MKII upgrade kit was prototyped, and they're out there - just not in the hands of ordinary customers. FX is planning to sell them, probably in a month or so from now.

Both dealers that I spoke with had identical answers when I asked if they'd carry them, stating that FX told them that the MKII upgrade kits may become available for them to sell in the future.

My "forecast" is:

FX will not be selling upgrades kits to the public. Only to vendors / retailers with the experience to make those changes. Owners (in general, of course exceptions confirm the rule) can not make this upgrade, since involve changing the ValveHousing, ValveTube and make a seal test. Many things can go wrong if you do not know what you are doing and that is a Risk that FX probably will not take (I would not if I were FX) there has been many many test on selling upgrades direct to people without the knowledge that end up ranting all over social media saying basically that the upgrade does not work...when the true is that it was not correctly installed.

100% 99% sure that there is an upgrade kit, but that one was sent only to vendors for upgrading the FX impact X stock to Mk2

So my belief is that FX will sell an upgrade kit soon, to retailers, and if you want to upgrade your impact, you will need to send it to the nearest vendor you have or ship your impact there.

All this is just an educated guess, just sharing ideas nothing is from FX officially

Lucky me!

I got my FX Impact MKII upgrade kit to upgrade my FX Impact X in just a week. These are the only parts you need to upgrade your FX Impact X: Valve and a valve house. Forget the huge magazine. It is bulky. Forget the MKII paint mark. Just paint it.

Background: I ordered my FX Impact X and it took nearly a year to wait for the delivery. When it arrived, the MKII was released to the public. I wanted a refund from the dealer but it will take another year to order the MKII. So, i simply got the upgrade kit. If i am not mistaken, FX Airgun mentioned that i only need the Valve and the valve house because my barrel is already the new FX Smooth Twist X (base on the serial number). I will just paint the MKII on the body (joke:))

Now, the installation process is more exciting than the shooting itself. It is a medicine for a germ or disease called "upgrade-ditist." (joke)

And what are the parts in mk2 kit ... dies anyone knows foe sure.

Hi PaniSD,

Here is the message from FX:

Valvehousing Impact - 19605-1

Valvetube 20mm Impact - 19615-1

Conversion kit Impact Side-Shot Magazine

Barrel Smooth twist X

Kill that germ itching your fingers. Just buy them.

It's not a good investment anymore. There are far superior power parts available for a lower price. If I wanted to buy an impact today I wouldn't buy a MKII. I'd buy a used gen 2 or 3 and use the money I saved to purchase the 75cc eccentric plenum (my design copied from this forum 4-25-19) from Poland $140 shipped, drill the valve seat to 1/4" (6.35mm) and do an elongated single port. For much less money I would have a gun that can do anything the MKII can and have 30% more power on tap or greater efficiency. A Huma regulator is also a good investment since FX's craptacular plastic piston is a roll of the dice. The "amp" regulator didn't solve any problems.

Ok my turn.i have had all the internals ordered and payed for going on 4 months.summer and Newman have told me iam on a list.the upgrade doesn't give you much power.i just like spare parts.i ordered the valve tube valve housing . hammer. Gauge's. Block with mk ll logo.all I ordered was278.$ but.with what I've done to my impact.the new pert won't give me but 5 cc of extra air.theres your price 278.$$ for all internals and cheap gauge's.

Hi,

That is absolutely true but I live at the other side of the world. No one i know has experience modifying FX airgun other than backyard factory players making their own airgun. The most we can do here is the "plug and play" parts. With the replaced parts, i might approach one of the backyard modifiers to try and copy it or improve on it.

The big air tube (my design copied from this forum 4-25-19) is plug and play and you'll have 50cc more plenum volume than the MKII. It's the best single upgrade available and only costs $100 + shipping.

EDIT: If it's not my design the man had the exact same idea of the CAD drawing I posted and deleted hours later 4-25-19.

,

James,

This is humongous! FX dealer here is selling the .30, 700mm Slug Barrel Kit (with the sleeve and suppressor). I refused because the Impact X might be too slow to push the .30 cal slug out. With this humongous one, will it push the .30 call slug properly?

Thank you and best regards.

My name is James.

My 700mm impact X has 3 other simple mods but in .30 I get 948 fps for 66 grain slugs at 150 bar. Just to test I got 1072 fps for the 50 grain JSB pellet at 150 bar. I don't use pellets at that speed.
