Impact M3 Pre Powerblock

Just a little bit of info on the new Power Block on the Impact M3. So a week ago I purchased a new M3 from Utah Airguns. I was on their web site about to make my purchase of the new M3 Power Block version when I decided to call to make sure the 177 was in stock like it was showing. While I was on the phone I ended up making my purchase with the person on the phone and not online. Fast forward to a day ago, my M3 arrives. I open the case to see a new M3 but no Power Block marking on the gun???? A little confused as the only gun on their site for the regular Impact is the Power Block version. I called Utah Air thinking they had sent me the wrong version of the M3. When I spoke to them they assured me the the new power block was already being installed on the M3's just wasn't laser engraved yet. I then reached out to FX and asked them about this. Attached is their response. So I guess what I'm saying is if you picked up a new M3 and it doesn't say Power Block, don't go out and purchase the new power block as your rifle most likely has it already!

From a FaceBook post I subscribe to, you can tell the difference from the new POWER Block and the original block.

My M3 .25 cal was delivered on Feb 2022 with serial number # 2155976. I reached out to FX USA who said to contact the vendor (Utah Air) I purchased the gun from. I did and Utah Air said I indeed had the "unbranded power block" already installed based on my order number and serial number. However, Utah Air gave me the wrong information. Based on the attached picture, I have the older block installed.

First 2 pictures is my block.

3rd picture identifies what the older block looks like.

I know this is an old thread but i'd like to hear any benifit this upgrade would offer a 177-25 cal gun in the M3 config...
My understanding is that in any caliber, the Powerblock benefits are strictly for shooting slugs; no benefit to pellet shooters. BTW I also have a non-branded Powerblock M3. I confirmed it with FX using the serial number.

I have a 22 cal M3, 600mm pre-PowerBlock. Trying to figure out if an upgrade would do me any good, other than knowing i added another pfft or two to my plenum. When they were hunting as much power as they could feed the 35 cal, the bore on the sleeve was restrictive, i can see where opening that bore helped the 35 cal, but on the smaller calibers, I'm having trouble understanding any benefit.

I also have an unbranded M3 22 cal in 700mm. In 22 cal, I can't tell much difference just swapping barrels. The tune is pretty dang close to the same with both blocks.
