Hello again guys

ive upgraded my Impact mkI with the Vladan Plenum. Now it leaks thru the barrel, but I’ve not detected any damaged oring.

I totally agree. I had an Impact leak out the barrel too and couldn't see anything wrong with any of the O-rings or valve seal. I took it apart 2-3 times and couldn't find the leak. I finally took it apart again and inspected everything with a flashlight and my 3x reading glasses. Sure enough it was a teeny tiny little scratch that I couldn't see with the naked eye, just like Glem suggested. If you have the O-rings, and it's apart, just lube them and change them all while you have it apart. Let us know!

I would remove all o-rings and soak them in Alphabet org Transmission quick fix stop leak for a half a day then clean them extremely well (VERY IMPORTANT NO petroleum based residue going into PCP)with dish detergent (Dawn blue color is the best) rinse then dry and silicone lube and reinstall. That's just me though.

I did not take that part out yet to see how the two parts seal together, so I am just speculating would that be more beneficial polishing the two (machined) conical shapes (lapping together) with a fine diamond paste?

I have seen some earlier pictures months ago where the female cone deep inside the valve housing was really rough looking hole - right out of the machine...a teflon or delrin ring on the rod need really to work hard to seal on that cone...

today I’ll inspect all parts with care again, maybe there a really some small scratches that can’t be seen with the eye just by overlooking.

Hello Yo

i have new seals on order, today I’ll try the original valveseat to look if this is also leaking. If so, I’ll be replacing all seals.

The valve seat from Vladan looks really ruff, today I’ll put in the original to see if that’s also leaking. But I can’t polish that parts, have not the right tools for it. The funny thing is, when I finished the PP upgrade it’s leaking a bit, then fired a few shots and it’s not leaking anymore, if tuned the gun a put a tin of pellets thru and it holds air with no problem, the next day I went out shooting an then it’s leaking again.
