Allegedly used vice grips to "remove that press fit barrel."

Seeing that made me half sick to my stomach. I guarantee there will be regrets lol. I came close with my fortitude last year but thanks to some good guys I met on the forums and some common sense to put it away for a while the gun survived and is doing well.

That's what I was thinking, nice scope that got ruined.

This is why I leave the tuning to professionals!

This was posted on FX owners group on FB. Guy said he was dying of cancer and was pissed off at the gun.

Looks like someone went through a lot of werq to destroy that. On the bright side the scope mount and barrel brass parts look salvageable.

That'll teach you, NEVER over tighten torque screws! POI might be off a little!
