Impact 35 cal. Where is it?

I’ve been waiting to get on the pre-order list for the .35 Impact, but if the .35 is going to be a totally separate gun that cannot switch to .177, .22, .25 and.30, I’m out. I’d rather have the Impact with the 4 caliber capability and buy a cheapie big bore as suggested by cwooten5.

Word from the FX Tech's is that it is the same Impact and it will change the barrel and probe to different caliber's. However, it is going to be limited to short .357 pellets or hand loading fairly short slugs due to the breech size limitations. The new hybrid FX slugs in .357 caliber should perform very well in this platform and hopefully they will load by magazine instead of by a single or double shot tray.

Yeah.... Lol

Screw that. I'm just gonna go with the power plenum kit and shooting healthy 70+ grain .308 slugs. Melissa at FX Usa talked to her manager, and even though I received my rifle on October 19th, she talked to her manager, and they are gonna install my kit for the 100 dollar discounted rate. The cutoff was October 31st, I had missed it by less than 2 weeks. 3 month estimated wait time, like any new fx thing, but I'm so grateful they're cool, and are blessing me.

I can't wait to get it back all beefed up!😁😀😆😅😄😃

Sounds like there’s nothing to wait for. Just get an Impact MKII with the power plenum when they become available, shoot .30 cal slugs for now, and if needed later just buy the .35 caliber kit and shoot short slugs. You won’t be gaining anything by waiting.

That is hard to say if that would be prudent, because us prior owner's may not be able to get the kit without waiting. I say this because it took a very long time to get the slug liners market for sale for the larger caliber's alone. Waiting for the actual Impact in .357 caliber may be the best bet, because they won't let the .357 be rushed out the door of the factory without having been inspected and possibly tuned a bit as well.

No sir, it's difficult. Shoot man, i reasoned if I spent 2100 on my Impact, (+721 for Hercules, 679 for Sumatra...) I may as well go on and drop a measly 259 for the young hen air compressor! That thing is great! Our sport changes so drastically once you can stop having to factor limited air into the equation. Promise! I can't believe anyone is without one these days. They used to be 3 grand, but now we finally can afford it. I fill my guns over and over, and my 88 c.f. tank too about 4800 psi when I'm traveling. Paintball shop used to max at like 3900. That crap sucked! Lol 😛

Hello, I have a few question about the fx impact mkII .35cal for power and accuracy and consistency. If you guys can estimate or help me out trying to understand ill really appreciate your time and effort thank you. 👍

1. Will it be better to pre-order the .35cal fx impact mkII with power plenum due to the heavier hammer, for the other calibers .22cal.25cal .30cal shooting JSB pellets?

2. With a heavier hammer how much more power will it put out for .22cal .25cal .30cal JSB pellets?

3. With the heavier hammer will the consistency, accuracy be better or worse for the .22cal .25cal .30cal shooting JSB pellets?

The hammer is not heavier.

The hammer spring they use is 57 mm for the .30 and .35 caliber instead of the 53 mm hammer spring included with the Power Plenum kit.
